Job description
We Are Looking for an:
Electrical Engineer
As an Electrical Engineer, you are responsible for designing and developing the electrical control systems and the associated documentation for the attractions that will go into production.
Your responsibilities:
Creating single-line diagrams for motor distribution systems, requiring knowledge of motor protection components, soft starters, and frequency inverters.
Calculating total connected power, heat losses, cable diameters, and cable routes.
Selecting the appropriate transformers, DC power supplies, circuit breakers, and control elements for designing control desks, sensors (such as inductive proximity switches and photocells), as well as the proper connection materials, including terminals, cables, and cable glands.
Developing PLC circuit diagrams based on a symbol list prepared by the software engineers of the Systems Engineering department. This involves the use of safety PLCs, remote I/O components, and data networks (EtherNet). Electrical schematics are detailed by an external drafting agency. While knowledge of E-Plan P8 is not required, you will be responsible for reviewing the detailed drawings.
Inspecting ordered electrical panels during a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) at the supplier's location before they are transported to the construction site.
Job requirements
What We Expect from You:
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
At least 3 years of experience in designing control panels.
The ability to analyze problems systematically and address them in a structured way.
Strong communication skills in both written and spoken Dutch and English.
