We are looking for an:
(Interim) Division Manager Sales & Marketing
Sales and Marketing play a crucial role within Vekoma Rides, both towards the customer and the company. The agreements made by the Sales Managers impact the entire organization.
The Division Manager Sales and Marketing leads the (international) Sales Managers and the PR & Marketing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor external and internal external developments and advise the management on strategic and tactical decisions in Sales and Marketing;
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers, market trends, and competitive activities;
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans, including short- and long-term objectives;
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understand their needs, and ensure exceptional service delivery;
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing customers;
- Lead, guide, coach, and develop the world wide located and operating sales team, fostering collaboration to achieve individual and team goals;
- Set and achieve ambitious sales targets amongst others a robust sales pipeline, continuously monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with other divisions and departments to ensure a seamless end-to-end customer experience, to provide insights for product development and to align sales strategies with the rest of the organisation
Vereisten
Job Requirements:
- You are a good organizer and communicator;
- You work and think at an academic level, for example, an MSc degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a Technical or Economic degree;
- You have experience and interest in working with a technical product in a B2B market;
- You have extensive work experience as a manager of Sales and Marketing in an international environment;
- You live within a 100 km radius of Vlodrop or are willing to relocate;
- You are willing to travel worldwide and are flexible in making calls in other time zones when needed.
- You are fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch or other languages in regions where Vekoma is strong is a plus.

- You have an interest in other cultures;
- You have a problem-solving attitude;
- You are collaboration-oriented, have persuasive power, know how to encourage and motivate employees, and can handle diverse opinions and views.
