Installation Supervisor

What you’re going to do?

Vekoma's rollercoasters and amusement park attractions are sold and installed all over the world. The Installation Supervisor coordinates, plans, monitors, and advises on the assembly of the rollercoasters and attractions. Main workplace will be the US with the mainoffice in Florida.

Main duties:

For each assignment, the Installation Supervisor focuses on activities to be carried out (assembly of steel construction, mechanical parts, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic components) by way of drawing packages, hoisting plan, material lists, etc.

• For each assignment, the Installation Supervisor actualizes the construction work in more detail.
• The Installation Supervisor inspects the already executed foundation work.
• The Installation Supervisor checks for the presence and quality of the materials.
• The Installation Supervisor monitors the progress of the work and makes a weekly report about this.
• The Installation Supervisor discusses deviations/problems.
• He counsels customers and assembly contractors in regards to methods, execution, quality, progress, tools to be used, hoisting equipment, and safety fittings.
• The Installation Supervisor checks for the correct assembly and quality of the installations based on drawings and checklists.
• He assists the test and commissioning engineer in the inspection and commissioning of mounted attractions for correctness, safety, and proper assembly.

What do we expect from you?

• You have an Associate’s degree (vocational education) level of thinking and working.
• You have experience with the assembly of steel structures and machines. Experience with E-HYDRO assembly is a plus.
• You possess leadership abilities and can lead a team of 10-25 assemblers.
• You are comfortable working at heights.
• You have no fear of flying.
• You are willing to stay abroad for a large part of the year.
• You can quickly and easily adapt to local customs at assembly sites.
• You work meticulously and structured.
