    A job you don't learn at school, but in-house at Vekoma

    The roller coasters and theme park attractions from Vekoma are sold and installed all over the world. The roller coaster builder, also known as the track supervisor, is responsible for overseeing and checking the production work of roller coasters globally. They also travel to make corrections to roller coasters. As a roller coaster builder, you’ll work in a variety of locations. You’ll work at our production sites in the Netherlands, as well as at production sites around the world! And as the cherry on top, you'll also work at installation sites with our customers.

    Becoming a roller coaster builder is no easy task. To do so, you must complete a training program at the Roller Coaster School. The program lasts 2 years and is based at our location in Vlodrop. During the training, you’ll go through various modules. You will receive specific technical training, but there is also a focus on soft skills and mastering the English language.

    Job requirements

    What we expect from you:

  • You have an MBO level of work and thinking, with knowledge of construction and equipment manufacturing.
  • You can work independently, but also as part of a team.
  • You’re eager to roll up your sleeves and get hands-on.
  • You are communicative, both verbally and in writing.
  • You are willing to travel abroad regularly.
