In the short term, we are looking for an:


Operator Welding Robot


Vekoma Rides is seeking a skilled welder responsible for preparing and executing various welding tasks within our production environment.

As a welder, you will be responsible for preparing and executing welding tasks. By analyzing detailed drawings, specifications, and welding procedures, you will determine the required materials and equipment for the job.


What will you do?

  • You will perform welding work on structural components using advanced robotic welding techniques.
  • You will program both on-line and off-line to execute the welding tasks according to prescribed methods.
  • You will establish the optimal welding sequence to minimize distortion and ensure quality.
  • You will monitor the maximum allowable distortion and ensure a quality finish.
  • After completing the welding tasks, you will check and measure the quality of the work, correcting any deviations.
  • You will keep records of the welding work performed and maintain the welding equipment, including the welding robot.
  • Safety and quality are always central to your work.

Job requirements

What do we expect from you?

  • You have vocational knowledge at the MBO level, acquired through, for example, MBO Metalworking, All-round Welder, Level 3, supplemented with relevant welding certificates for the position (preferably the operator certificate according to ISO14732).
  • You have extensive experience in performing certified (manual) welding (MAG/TIG), are skilled in handling welding method descriptions and welding filler materials, and have experience as an on- and off-line programmer of (Panasonic) welding robots.
  • You have knowledge of materials and resources used in the assembly of sub-products.
  • You are knowledgeable about applicable quality requirements.
