In the short term, we are looking for a:


Software Engineer


As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing the software for the control systems of roller coasters and/or other amusement rides. Under the guidance of, or in collaboration with, the Control System Engineer, you will create the control engineering documentation and work it out in a software design document. This document will then be transformed into the programming, primarily for Rockwell PLCs. Additionally, you will create documentation describing how the software should be tested.

A significant challenge and valuable learning experience will be supporting the testing phase, where you will provide assistance during the commissioning of projects. This work may take place both in the office and on-site, including abroad. Finally, you will support the Parts & Services (After Sales) department in diagnosing and resolving control engineering issues for all delivered projects.

The position is characterized by a high degree of variety and independence.

Job requirements

What do we expect from you?

  • You hold at least a Bachelor’s degree, e.g., in Industrial Automation, and have a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with machine controls and industrial automation.
  • Experience in industrial automation.
  • Knowledge of PLC control systems (preferably Allen Bradley, Rockwell, safety PLC).
  • Familiarity with industrial networks.
  • Experience in controlling electrical, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic components and systems.
  • Experience in creating FAT/SAT reports.
  • Knowledge of methodologies such as Hazard Analysis and FMEA.
  • You have a good understanding of modern control systems.
  • You possess analytical skills and can comprehend and approach software-related issues systematically.
  • You are a team player and familiar with working in project teams.
  • You have a practical and pragmatic attitude.
  • You have strong communication skills in both spoken and written Dutch and English.
  • You have a customer- and service-oriented mindset.
