We are looking for a:

Technical Purchaser

As a Technical Purchaser, you will be involved in the entire procurement process, from specification to aftercare. Within the department, each buyer is responsible for their own product groups.

What will you do?

• Analyze various product groups.

• Develop purchasing strategies.

• Manage supplier selection and development (performance management).

• Maintain relationships with different suppliers.

• Relay acquired market knowledge back to the organization.

• Support supply chain optimization projects.

• Initiate and implement internal and external improvement processes related to suppliers.

• Monitor delivery times and ensure effective vendor management.

• Perform various administrative tasks.

• Request and evaluate quotations.

• Ensure the timely procurement of all project-related goods and services according to specified quality requirements, where supplier selection and negotiation play a crucial role.

• In collaboration with the strategic buyer, develop a plan for assigned commodities and establish framework agreements in line with commodity plans.

What do we expect from you?

• You have a higher professional education (HBO) level of thinking and working.

• You have experience as a purchaser in a technical environment.

• You are proficient in MS Office and an ERP system.

• You have a strong command of both Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

• You have experience in developing and implementing improvement projects.

• You have an affinity for or interest in technology.

• You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• You possess strong analytical skills.

• You are customer-oriented, both internally and externally.

• You are a team player with initiative and organizational sensitivity.
