Core Activity of the Unit

Within the production division, we aim to plan the chain of goods and services, from supplier to customer, as effectively and efficiently as possible. The Supply Chain unit plans and coordinates the flow of goods and services within production. The unit is also continuously engaged in analyzing and improving the chain. The core of the aforementioned responsibilities lies within the production division, but it also has strong interaction with the chain before and after production.

What will you do?

As the Unit Manager, you will be responsible for leading the employees within the Supply Chain unit. The Supply Chain team consists of planners and Supply Chain engineers. As a Unit Manager, you oversee the processes of planning, coordinating, and monitoring the flow of goods and services. You resolve bottlenecks and discuss progress and any stagnations with other unit and staff managers, or with the division manager when necessary.

In addition to operationally managing the unit, you will also contribute to improving processes within the scope of Supply Chain to optimize quality and efficiency within the chain.

While planning, coordinating, and optimizing, you will ensure the connection between production units, but you will also connect with other divisions such as Engineering, Sales, Project Management, and Parts & Services. You are attentive to the design and configuration of work processes both within and outside the unit and work systematically toward the best possible process and product quality, tailored to client demands.

Additionally, in coordination with the division manager, you will assess employee performance, conduct performance reviews, implement the absenteeism policy, and be responsible for the professional development of employees.

You will set goals and create a roadmap that you align with other units. The roadmap is in line with the business plan as well as the division and unit plans. The set goals are proactively aligned with market developments.

What do we expect from you?

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in logistics, economics, or business administration, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• You have supplemented your education with modules (HBO Bachelor) in logistics, process, or supply chain management.
• You possess management qualities and know how to motivate, inspire, and optimally deploy people.
• You have a comprehensive view of business processes and organizational awareness.
• You have persuasive skills but can also listen well.
• You are principled in dealing with people.
• You are a connector.
• You possess strong communication skills in both Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing.
• You are a strong personality, authentic, and informal in your interactions.
• You have a customer- and service-oriented mentality, work attitude, and behavior.
• You are a positive realist with a natural passion for quality.
